Terms of Service

The Services are for adults 18 years of age and older. By using them, you confirm that you are at least 18 and able to enter into these Terms.

The Site provides information about Phebe and lets you join our waitlist. Joining the waitlist is not a guarantee of access to the App or any particular feature or timeline.

The App helps adults with PKU estimate phenylalanine, log meals, and track a daily phe budget. Phe and nutrition values are estimates drawn from trusted food data and the portions you confirm. They are approximate and are not laboratory measurements.

Phebe provides information and lifestyle support. It is not medical advice, a medical device, or a diagnostic tool, and it does not replace your physician, metabolic clinic, or other qualified healthcare provider. Always follow the guidance of your care team and do not change your diet or treatment based solely on the App.

To use the App you create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

You agree not to:

• use the Services for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the Services;
• scrape, copy, or harvest content or data without our permission; or
• reverse engineer or interfere with the Services except as allowed by law.

The food entries, notes, and other content you add to the App are yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the Services for you. You can delete your content and your account at any time.

The Services and their content, including the Phebe name, logo, text, and design, are owned by Phebe Corporation and protected by applicable law. You may not use them without our prior written permission. Underlying food data may come from public sources such as the USDA.

The Services rely on third-party providers, such as our hosting, database, email, and AI providers. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties. If you connect a Bluetooth kitchen scale or other hardware, that device is provided by its manufacturer and used at your own discretion.

If you download the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to that store’s terms. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or for support, and they are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that estimates are accurate or that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Phebe Corporation will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed one hundred US dollars.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Phebe Corporation from claims arising out of your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Services. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version, and your continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
